ABOUT CHRISTY
Finding Beauty Through Pain
When I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder at age 19, I was told my future would be bleak: Pain medicines, doctors, missed opportunities, and my career aspirations: likely replaced with disability benefits. Sadly, I believed them - for a while.
Finally, I decided I wasn't going to let life pass me by. I dove into researching my condition and started down a path of faith and healing. Not only do I incorporate healthy eating and physical exercise to heal my body, but I also focus on mental and emotional strength as well. Positive thinking and inspiration are now a part of my everyday life.
With the love of my life by my side, I have a beautiful life. I've built a career I love, traveled to nearly 50 countries (and counting!). I enjoy an active lifestyle and have experienced things I never thought possible. Now, I share a message of courage, hope, and determination to inspire others.
